The Inner Excellence Freedom Project is a volunteer-run, 501c3 non-profit charity created to serve the disadvantaged by building houses and schools for communities in need. It’s all part of the goal to share God’s love, wisdom and courage, and perhaps most of all his joy and freedom.

The school in Uganda is the maiden project to kick off all future Inner Excellence Freedom Projects.

  • WHAT:
  • School and (partial) housing in Uganda for 300 students (including 50 orphans)
  • COST:
  • $80,000 USD (includes teacher salaries for one year)
  • NEED:
  • Immediate
  • Recent orphans
  • Money raised to date:
  • $8,100.26
  • Money still needed to build the school:
  • $71,899.74

Once we get the full amount, Jim will fly to Uganda (pay his own expenses of course) and share pictures and video with you all on the groundbreaking! The image of the family above was actually taken by Jim in a market in Nepal.

How do we choose our projects?

We focus on:

  • Severity and urgency of the need
  • Ability to create a self-sustaining community project
  • Cost (under $100,000 USD)
  • Length of time it would take from start to finish after the money is raised (able to complete in one year or less)
  • Number of orphans, widows, handicapped or imprisoned families we can help
  • Amount of help we will get from the local community

The goal of every project is to provide a community resource that will provide long-lasting, tangible benefits to the community for decades to come.

This will be done by building communities that will provide food, housing, meals, medical help and training for people to overcome the challenges they face. The communities will be a place to share resources, work and eat together, and learn and grow to be self-supportive.

Research will be done to ensure best practices are carried out in regards to creating self-sustaining communities that thrive without outside support.
